In 1952, she inherited a 1939 Buick from her father and was given a new Rolls Royce Phantom III just before her coronation in 1953. In 1956, she received a Daimler Limousine from the Royal Family and in 1959 she was gifted with an Aston Martin DB4. After that, it seems like every year there was another car given to the Queen by various royal families or governments to commemorate something or other.
The Queen’s love for cars may have started when she was young.
